Data, security and privacy

Understand the access you grant Patrima and keep control of your data.

On this page

The Service is read-only and non-custodial. It never holds your assets, never has withdrawal or trading rights, and never executes transactions on your behalf. This page says what that means in practice: what Patrima can read, what it keeps, what it measures about its own use, and the controls you have over all of it. The privacy policy and the terms remain the reference; this page reads them for you.

Read-only access

Patrima reads your positions. It does not hold your assets or execute operations.

Keys read-only and encrypted

Use an exchange key restricted to read-only access. Saved keys are encrypted.

Your data, your account

Access to your personal data is tied to your account.

Cookie-free usage measurement

Limited usage and diagnostic information helps improve the service.

What you authorise

Patrima reads three things: public on-chain data from a wallet address, exchange data through a read-only API key, and what you type in. It never asks for a private key or a seed phrase, never signs a transaction, never places an order. The Service never requests, and must never be granted, withdrawal or trading permissions. Everything Patrima produces, rebalancing plans, trading signals and yield proposals alike, is decision support and checklists you carry out elsewhere, or not.

What is collected and how it is kept

Account data: your email address and authentication identifiers. Portfolio data: the holdings, positions, transactions, and asset information you enter or connect. Investor profile: the preferences, objectives, horizon, and risk answers you provide. Connection credentials: the read-only exchange API keys you choose to connect, held encrypted. Technical data: the limited usage and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the Service. We do not collect government identity documents, and we do not ask for withdrawal or trading permissions.

Personal data is logically isolated per user, connection credentials such as exchange API keys are encrypted at rest, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. The list of processors and the places where data is processed are in the privacy policy.

Usage and diagnostics

Patrima uses cookie-free usage measurements and diagnostic information to improve the service and understand errors. Measures limit the personal data transmitted. The privacy policy describes processing and your rights.

Data freshness

Check the date and data status shown on the page. Older or partial data can limit the reliability of valuations and analysis. Understand your data explains status indicators and update schedules.

Your rights and controls

In Settings, Data & privacy, export your Patrima data as JSON, excluding passwords and connection keys, or delete your account. Deletion is permanent; it affects your Patrima data and does not move your assets.

CSV and PDF exports serve more specific purposes. See the legal page for your rights to access, correct, export and delete data.

Not investment advice

Patrima is a portfolio decision-support tool. Patrima is not a regulated investment advisor and does not provide personalized investment advice within the meaning of MiCA Title V (EU), the FCA (UK), the SEC (US), or the AMF (FR). Patrima does not execute transactions. Scenarios, projections, and analyses are informational only and do not constitute a recommendation. Investment decisions are yours.

Frequently asked questions

Can Patrima move or spend my funds?

No. Patrima reads information available through read-only access and data you enter. It does not hold your assets, sign transactions or place orders.

Can I use Patrima without connecting a wallet address?

Yes. Create a Manual account and enter your positions and transactions. You can combine manual accounts and connected sources. Manual accounts do not count towards the source limit; you must update their quantities yourself. See the manual walkthrough.

What does the data freshness chip mean?

It indicates the age of the data used by the page. Reloading the page does not necessarily mean the data has just been updated. See Understand your data.

What do "Showing cached data" and "Partial data" mean?

Showing cached data means the latest available data is being displayed. Partial data means some information is missing. Check the date and affected items before interpreting a total or analysis; try again later.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Transactions exports the current page as CSV; Yield and Lending export the filtered list. The JSON export in Settings covers your Patrima data, excluding secret credentials. See the export guide.

Is Patrima financial advice?

No.

Where can I find the terms and the privacy policy?

The terms of service, the privacy policy and the legal notice are available at any time from the footer of the app, of this documentation and of the home page. They cover what data is collected, how it is protected, and your rights over it, including exporting and deleting your data.

How do I export or delete my data?

Open Settings, Data & privacy. The JSON export contains your Patrima data, excluding passwords and connection keys. Deletion permanently removes your account and its data; your assets remain on your own platforms.
